Working Out

Well, spring is in the air here in Denver and we have been trying to get back in shape and enjoy the outdoors.  Today we ran a 5K put on by a woman at our church to benefit lung cancer research.  It was cold and pouring rain, but Ian finished in the top ten runners!

We have also really gotten into biking.  A few weekends ago we tried to ride to my brother's soccer game.  I felt confident having grown up in the Denver area that I could get us there on the many connecting trails.  Unfortunately, we ended up here.  After this picture, Ian was nice enough to carry me across the stream so my feet wouldn't get wet:)

Snowshoeing

A few weekends ago it snowed and snowed and snowed in true Colorado fashion!  The snow was so deep we decided to go snowshoeing at the local dam.  We finished our hike right as the sun was setting.

Latest Happenings

Here is some catch up on what we have been up to lately.

For Ian's birthday I got him tickets to the Rapids soccer game.  We sat very close to the field and he loved every minute of it!

Last weekend we flew to Los Angeles to spend some time with Ian's family.  Evan just got home from serving a two year church mission in Argentina.  We also went through the LDS Los Angeles Temple with his sister, Alana.  It was a great weekend with family.

On Friday we went with my Dad and brother Nathan to the Lion King in downtown Denver.  Because this was my Valentine's Day gift this year we have been waiting for a long time for this event!  The costumes and music were phenomenal.
